Don’t worry I know it feels like a huge step, but rest assured my easy baby-led weaning recipes will help you through this next phase. We love eggs in our house, in fact it is one of our absolutely favorite healthy breakfasts ever! It’s perfect quick, healthy breakfast option for your baby and toddler. But, how do you give eggs to a new baby starting baby led weaning? In little baby led weaning muffins of course! The best part about this recipe is that it is full of yummy ingredients, veggies, cheese, and they are easy to pick up for little hands and boy do they taste amazing!I make a GINORMOUS batch and freeze the lot of them! 10.Apple and Cinnamon Super Breakfast Muffins

In our house we have instilled that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Mostly the older ones eat porridge as I always find it does what it is supposed to and keeps them full until lunch time. We add whatever fruit we have in the fruit bowl, make it with variations in milk and even add homemade chia jams (which are amazing!) My favourite at the moment is pure peanut butter, slices of banana and a sprinkling of coconut shavings. Pure heaven.

1. Baby Led Weaning Mexican Quinoa Bites

This recipe is a yummy variation of my baby led weaning tuna quinoa bites (which you can find here). Quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) is so amazing for all the family. It is a complete protein meaning that it contains all nine essential amino acids which most other grains lack. It is high in Vitamins B & E and is also a great source of fibre. And, if that wasn’t enough it is also a great source of calcium, magnesium and manganese. Quinoa is the least allergenic of all grains so if your little one is intolerant to grains this is a great alternative.

We love lasagne in our house, in fact it’s one of our favourite dinners. Its full of yummy ingredients, saucy, cheesy and is one of those comfort foods that makes us all super happy. Little Oscar was no different and the yum sounds were always heard with every bite. It was probably the messiest dinner he ever ate and so I experimented with both fresh and dried lasagne sheets in my beloved mini muffin tin. They are super cute looking and are so much easier for little hands to manage (and a lot cleaner). This recipe not only makes 24 baby sized dinners but also has enough left over to make a 3 portion family lasagne.
