Zunzifest: Zunzi’s restaurant offers FREE sandwiches on 2nd Tuesdays

Zunzi’s restaurant is giving back to the community with FREE sandwiches, as part of its monthly Zunzifest.

Zunzifest is a customer appreciation (and marketing) event that happens on the second Tuesday of each month, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During this one-of-a-kind event, anyone who has opted in to receiving text alerts from Zunzi’s can show up for a free sandwich.

To join Zunzi’s text community and receive a link for details about ZunZifest, just text ZUNZIFEST to 912-207-7551. Note that you are opting in to receive text alerts about food deals, special events, etc.

In the past, Zunzifest was held on the 26th of each month, in honor of Z, the 26th letter of the alphabet.  But now, Zunzifest takes place on the second Tuesday of the month, to avoid the holidays in November and December.

When you claim your freebie at Zunzifest, you’ll have a choice between two types of sandwiches:
Conquistador — French Bread, Chicken, Romaine Lettuce, Tomato, Provolone, Parmesan, Zunzi’s Sauce, Zunzi’s Dressing.
Rising Sun — French Bread, Portobello Mushrooms, Grilled Onions, Grilled Peppers, Grilled Squash, Grilled Zucchini, Hummus, Mixed Greens, Avocado, Tomato, Zunzi’s Sauce, Zunzi’s Dressing.

Zunzi’s is a fast casual restaurant featuring a South African-inspired menu. It has been named on numerous pop culture lists that list best sandwich spots.

In 2019, Zunzi’s landed on Thrillist’s compilation of “The 33 Best Sandwiches in America.”

The Conquistador was named the best sandwich in Georgia on People magazine’s “Best Sandwich in Every State” list.

In 2017, Zunzi’s secured a spot on Mental Floss’ list of “The Best Sandwiches in all 50 States.”

BuzzFeed named Zunzi in its article called  “34 Meals That are Actually Worth Traveling the World For.”

The Conquistador was ranked among Men’s Journal’s “50 Best Sandwiches in America,” in 2015.

The Conquistador was named “Best Sandwich in the South” by Travel Channel’s Adam Richman in 2012.
